Zipper lane sa Quezon Ave. westbound, bubuksan na sa Disyembre 5 – DOTr

Maaari nang gamitin ng mga motorista, na bumabagtas sa Quezon Avenue westbound lanes sa Quezon City, ang zipper lane patungong Manila simula sa Lunes, Disyembre 5, 2022, ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Sinabi ng DOTr na ang zipper lane ay magbubukas mula alas-6:00 ng umaga hanggang alas-8:00 ng umaga.

Ang mga sasakyan ay maaaring pumasok sa zipper lane simula sa harap ng Lung Center of the Philippines.

Sa zipper lane, dito babagtas o daraan sa EDSA underpass at magtatapos sa U-turn slot sa harap ng Providence Hospital.

Ayon sa DOTr, “[The implementation of the zipper lane] shall study the possible effects to the current traffic flow along Elliptical Road and Quezon Avenue as basis for the establishment of the active and public transport infrastructures for the benefit of all road users.”

Batay naman sa Quezon City government, isang dry run para sa zipper lane ang ginanap ngayong Sabado, Disyembre 3, simula alas-6:00 ng umaga hanggang alas-8:00 ng umaga.
