Our grassroots program has turned to be more fruitful and successful for our athletes as we bid for more athletes in the Paris Olympics in 2024,” pahayag ni Samahang Weightlifting ng Pilipinas president Monico Puentevella sa panayam ng Bulgar Sports sa telepono. “We are very thankful to the Philippines Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) and the MVP Foundation for the unending support to our athletes. This is a good start for our weightlifters as successor of Hidilyn in the years to come.

This will be a huge experience for Elreen as we prepare for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. I’m not expecting her to win a medal in Tokyo."
