Palaban ang mensahe ni Priscilla Meirelles na ipinost niya sa Instagram (IG) noong kaarawan niya ilang araw na ang nakalipas. Kasama nito ang mga pictures mula sa kanyang birthday celebration sa Brazil.
Caption ni Priscilla, “One year wiser: that’s my wish for myself. Life may throw many challenges at me, but one thing I’m sure of by now is that nothing or no one can knock me down.
“Here’s to a life full of laughter and blessings, surrounded by the most amazing people.
“There is much more to celebrate. Let the laughter and joy begin. This year has been amazing so far! Time to have fun! Happy ReBirthday to me!”

Tapos, tatlong araw na ang nakalipas, may ipinost ulit si Priscilla na ganap sa isa pang birthday celebration.
Panalangin ng misis ni John Estrada, “Dear Lord, I am filled with gratitude for the countless blessings you have bestowed upon my life. You have provided me with more than I could have ever imagined and surrounded me with people who always look out for me.

In fairness, ang sexy na ulit ni Priscilla Meirelles at ang pretty pa rin.
TATLONG Best Actress trophies na ang natanggap ni Rebecca Chuaunsu para sa kanyang pagganap sa pelikulang Her Locket (HL) na idinirek ni J.E. Tiglao.
Unang Best Actress award ni Rebecca ay nakuha niya sa Marrakech International Film Festival (MIFF) sa Morocco noong nakaraang Disyembre.
Pangalawa, sa Wu Wei International Film Festival sa Taipei, Taiwan noong nakaraang Linggo. At ang pangatlo ay nitong katatapos lang na Sinag Maynila International Film Festival (SMIFF) 2024 dito sa Pilipinas.
Humakot din ng pitong awards ang HL sa Sinag Maynila, kabilang ang Best Film, Best Supporting Actress (para kay Elora Espano), ang buong cast ng Best Ensemble, Best Cinematography (Jag Concepcion), Best Production Design (James Rosendal), Best Screenplay (J.E. Tiglao at Maze Miranda), at Best Director din si J.E. Tiglao.
Noong nakaraang Martes ay napanood namin ang HL sa special screening nito sa Gateway 2 sa Araneta Center, Cubao. At pagkatapos ng screening, nakausap namin si Rebecca.
“I’m a bit teary-eyed right now because for a while I even thought of canceling the project because my husband was sick when we were doing this principal photography. I almost gave up.
“But I visited my husband at the ICU and he had a hole in his throat; he couldn’t talk anymore (garalgal na ang boses). And I gave him a stencil and he typed the words, ‘It is your dream,’” emosyonal na kuwento ni Rebecca.
Pagkatapos ng Sinag Maynila, dadalhin naman ni Rebecca ang HL sa San Diego, USA next month.
“Well, if you see me crying because it’s out for the last time here, maybe, in Metro Manila. But Sinag Maynila plans to bring us to the regions and to different campuses. And then by October, I’m bringing this to San Diego. To the Filipino community in San Diego,” pahayag ni Rebecca.
Hoping si Rebecca na manalo rin ng Best Actress sa gaganaping international filmfest sa San Diego, USA.
Dati nang gumaganap sa pelikula at telebisyon si Rebecca. Nakalabas na siya sa Mano Po 3 at Mano Po 7. Gumanap din siya bilang nanay ni Richard Yap at lola ni Kim Chiu sa Kapamilya teleserye na My Binondo Girl.
Gusto naman niyang makatrabaho sina Ken Chan, Lorna Tolentino, at ang National Artist na si Nora Aunor.
“Working with Kim Chiu? Well, she’s very kind and so willing to learn Chinese because we had to teach her to speak Mandarin. Wow, walang ere,” lahad pa ni Rebecca Chuaunsu na isang Filipino-Chinese.
