Uniporme, ‘di na required sa pampublikong paaralan – VP Sara

Hindi na kailangan na magsuot ng uniporme ang mga estudyante na papasok sa mga pampublikong paaralan, ayon kay Vice President Sara Duterte ngayong Lunes.

Ito ang tugon ng Department of Education (DepEd) chief para aniya, mabawasan ang pasanin ng mga estudyante at pamilya sa gitna ng pagtataas ng mga bilihin at kawalan ng ikabubuhay dulot ng COVID-19 pandemic.

“Even before the pandemic, it is not a strict requirement for public schools to wear uniforms (DepEd Order No. 065, s. 2010) to avoid incurring additional costs to the families of our learners,” pahayag ni VP Sara.

“All the more that it will not be required this school year given the increasing prices and economic losses due to the pandemic,” dagdag pa niya.

Nakatakdang magsimula ang klase para sa School Year 2022-2023 sa Agosto 22.

Ayon kay VP Sara, ang combined na in-person classes at distance learning ay ipatutupad mula Agosto 22 hanggang Oktubre, habang ang 5-araw na face-to-face classes ay magsisimula sa Nobyembre.
