Tinusok ng syringe pero ‘di ibinakuna… DOH, iniimbestigahan ang maling COVID-19 vaccination

Iniimbestigahan na ng Department of Health (DOH) ang nag-viral na video kung saan makikitang tinusok lamang ng health worker ng syringe ang braso ng nagpapabakuna kontra COVID-19 ngunit hindi ito ibinakuna.

Saad ng DOH, “The DOH is aware of the circulating video of a prospective vaccine recipient who failed to receive a proper dose of COVID-19 vaccine. This is a clear breach of vaccination protocol.”

Vinideohan ng recipient ang pagbabakuna sa kanya at napansin niyang hindi naibaon ng health worker ang syringe matapos itong itusok sa kanya.

Saad naman ng DOH, “The vaccination site was quick to address the mistake and she was successfully vaccinated after showing the video to the vaccination team.”

Pahayag pa ng ahensiya, "The Department (of Health) is investigating this breach in the vaccination protocol in coordination with the LGU (local government unit) concerned, and reminds all vaccinators to take extra care and attention during inoculation.”

Siniguro naman ni DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III sa publiko na hindi nila palalagpasin ang insidente at masusi nilang iimbestigahan para mapabuti ang national vaccination program.
