Ang daming nag-react sa trailer ng 1521 movie ni Bea Alonzo kung saan gumaganap siya bilang katutubong prinsesa (native princess).
Tanong ng netizen, "Is this a local production? I'm so confused."
Aniya pa, "1. Bea is half white and looks like one of the colonizers . 2. Why the heck are they speaking in English? 3. Danny Trejo (her leading man) has Mexican ancestor, not Spanish, right?
This just feels Pocahontas but in the PH setting."
Ayon sa Philippine TV & Film Updates, "The official teaser of 1521 starring Danny Trejo and Bea Alonzo has been released. It is set in the pre-Spanish era in the Philippines, a young native princess falls in love with a Spanish soldier."
Komento naman ng isang netizen, "Super support ako lagi to period movies pero BEA ALONZO as a native princess is probably the biggest miscast ever. I mean LOOK AT HER."
Sey naman ng isang netizen, 'di pa raw niya napapanood ang video clip, pero bumungad daw agad ang tanong why Bea as a native princess, eh, European look daw ang aktres.
Isa pa, bakit ang lahat daw ay nag-e-English? Dapat daw ay nilagyan na lang ng English subtitle ang iba?
