Sasama sa TVJ… DABARKADS, SABAY-SABAY DING NAG-RESIGN SA TAPE

Hindi na nga pinatagal pa ng TAPE, Inc. at naglabas na rin sila ng kanilang official statement kahapon, June 1, kaugnay ng kontrobersiyal na pamamaalam nina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto at Joey de Leon matapos na hindi payagang umere nang live ang Eat… Bulaga! sa GMA-7 nu'ng Miyerkules (May 31).

Sa statement na pinirmahan ng mga bagong namamahala sa TAPE, Inc. na sina Mr. Romeo "Jon" Jalosjos, Jr. (President and CEO) at Bullet Jalosjos, Finance Director, ganito ang kanilang naging panimula, “TAPE, Inc. is saddened by the turn of events yesterday, May 31 but we respect the decision of the hosts to leave Eat... Bulaga! and GMA-7 Network, which has been their home for 28 years."

Kasunod nito, kinilala nila ang naging malaking kontribusyon ng lahat, hindi lang daw nina Tito, Vic and Joey, para umabot ng 43 yrs. ang Eat… Bulaga!.

“We are grateful to the men and women who worked tirelessly for the past 43 years to make our noontime show number 1. The success of Eat... Bulaga! is not dependent only on three (3) people but on the collaborative efforts of its talents, crew, and loyal viewers.

“We are happy for the full support of GMA-7 in making Eat... Bulaga! bigger, to bring more fun and excitement to every Filipino."

At tama kaya ang pagkakaintindi namin sa naging pahayag ng mga Jalosjos na mukhang sila pa rin ang gagamit ng titulo ng Eat… Bulaga! at hindi ito puwedeng dalhin ng TVJ kung saang istasyon man sila lilipat?

Kasunod kasing pahayag nila, “We want to assure the public and the supporters of the show through its segments that we are committed to provide quality entertainment.

“It is unfortunate, but life must go on. As with life, we have to accept changes but we have a duty to every Filipino.

“Abangan ninyo ang mga bagong magpapasaya at magpapatibok ng ating mga puso. Aasahan ninyo ang mas masaya, mas nakakaaliw at HIGIT PA SA ISANG LIBO'T ISANG TUWA na Eat... Bulaga!.

“Patuloy ang mga Dabarkads na maglilingkod para sa inyo, mga Kapuso MULA APARRI HANGGANG JOLO AT SA BUONG MUNDO.

"Ang pag-alis ng mga hosts ay hindi dahilan para tumigil ang pag-ikot ng mundo.

"Maraming Salamat!"

Samantala, bukod sa official statement ng TAPE, Inc., lumabas din ang resignation letter ng Dabarkads na binubuo nina Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo at Wally Bayola, Maine Mendoza, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Ryan Agoncillo at Allan K.

So, kung nasaan ang TVJ, nandu'n din ang Dabarkads.
