Nilagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Executive Order No. 1, hinggil ito sa pag-abolish o pagbuwag ng Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) at ng Office of the Cabinet Secretary.

May petsang Hunyo 30, nakasaad sa EO 1, “the Marcos administration endeavors to achieve a comprehensive and meaningful recovery through a just allocation of resources and a simplified internal management and governance of the Office of the President and its immediate offices and common support system.”

“In order to achieve simplicity, economy, and efficiency in the bureaucracy without effecting disruptions in internal management and general governance, the Administration shall streamline official processes and procedures by reorganizing the Office of the President proper and the various attached agencies and offices, and by abolishing duplicated and overlapping official functions,” batay sa EO.

Gayunman, sa ilalim ng EO 1, binuo ang Office of the Presidential Adviser on Military and Police Affairs, kung saan ito ay sasailalim sa pangangasiwa ng Office of the Special Assistant to the President.

Ayon din sa EO, ang Office of the Special Assistant to the President, ang Presidential Advisers and Assistants at ang Presidential Management Staff ay dapat makipag-ugnayan sa Executive Secretary para sa pagbibigay ng staff support sa Pangulo.
