Pinagsamang mga bata at beteranong manlalaro sa pangunguna nina dating Far Eastern University star Heather Guino-o at dating College of St. Benilde spiker Jannine Navarro ang ipaparada ng bagong saling Capital1 Solar Energy sa 7th season ng Premier Volleyball League (PVL) sa pagbubukas ng liga sa Pebrero 20.
Nakahandang manduhan ni multi-titlist coach Roger Gorayeb ang grupong determinadong magpamalas ng malaking impresyon sa kabuuan ng liga at makapagbigay ng pagkilala at pansin mula naman sa milyon-milyong tagahanga at tagasunod ng liga sa buong bansa.
Ipaparada rin ng Solar Energy, na pagmamay-ari ng magkapatid na Mandy at Milka Romero, ang mga dating La Salle player na si Arianne Layug, Jorelle Singh ng National University at dating University of the East team captain at spiker Janeca Lana para sa karagdagang opensa.
“This will be a good opportunity for them to shine and be recognized so we are giving our all-out support to the team,” wika ni Mandy, na pangunahing nangangasiwa ng family-owned solar energy company. “My sister and I are hoping we can grow together in support of PH sports, especially volleyball.”
“We are not in a hurry; we take it one step at time until we build a winning culture. That’s our goal,” saad naman ni Milka, na parehong anak ng sports patron at sports enthusiasts Mikee Romero, na naniniwalang kumbinsidong ibubuhos ng bawat manlalaro ang kanilang kakayahan upang makakuha ng panalo.
