Pumanaw na ang dating Philippine National Police Director for Comptrollership na si Police Maj. Gen. Jose Maria Ramos na isa sa mga high-ranking officials ng PNP na naging kritikal sa helicopter crash noong Marso 5.
Kinumpirma ng Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson na si Col. Ysmael Yu ang balitang pagpanaw ni Ramos.
Aniya, “The PNP is saddened by this news, on behalf of CPNP PGen Cascolan, the PNP extends its condolences to the family and to PMA Sinagtala Class of 1986. Kagabi siya pumanaw.”
Na-comatose si Ramos simula noong naganap ang helicopter crash. Kabilang sina Retired Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa at former PNP Spokesman Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac sa 8 police officials sakay ng 2-year-old Bell 429 chopper nang mag-crash ito sa Laguna.
