We compliment the vigilance and dutifulness of our honorable congressmen. However, the combat sports NSAs strongly oppose prohibiting minors from participating in combat sports competitions, whether full contact or semi-contact,” nakasaad sa naturang position paper.

The combat sport NSAs actually drafted a position paper and sent to the committee. we stated our counter arguments there which is mainly on grassroots development, IOC games (YOG) and IF games supporting youth events, as well as the need to provide proper training and education for coaches and officials for all sports. We also emphasized the mandate of NSAs to handle all tournaments, whether private or government,” saad ng Muay secretary-general at bagong hirang na Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) board member na si Managuelod.
