Mandaluyong City - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has stepped forward to aid the residents affected by the ongoing disorder in Maguindanao del Sur.
On July 3, 2023, PCSO Executive Assistants Marjorie Gaddi and Arnold Arriola turned over 500 food packs to Paul Pineda, Chief-of-Staff of Congressman "Tong" Paglas Sr., at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
Expressing his gratitude, Pineda remarked, "The assistance provided by PCSO is genuinely heartwarming. We are fortunate that your agency promptly responded to our request for aid for our residents whom the peace issues in our area have victimized.
Furthermore, Pineda conveyed his heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the congressman of Maguindanao del Sur's lone district, saying, "Kami po ay taos-pusong nagpapasalamat sa pamunuan ng PCSO sa pangunguna ni General Manager Mel Robles, Chairman Cua at sa lahat ng Board of Directors.”
This initiative is the first of the agency's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for July, which aims to improve the conditions of marginalized individuals and sectors.
