Mandaluyong City – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has provided a total of P2.3 million in financial assistance to three non-government institutions dedicated to caring for abandoned, neglected, and surrendered children. The ceremonial turnover was held on February 24, 2025 at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles personally handed over the donation checks, each amounting to P1,000,000.00, to Sr. Martha Gamolo, Administrator of Hospicio de San Jose, Inc., and Mely Reluya, Center Administrator of White Cross, Inc. Meanwhile, Melanie Alog, Executive Director of Alay Pag-Asa Christian Foundation, Inc., received P300,000.00 in financial aid.

These institutions provide shelter, care, and support to vulnerable children which focus on their development and family empowerment to help improve their overall quality of life. The donations will help sustain and enhance their programs, including healthcare, feeding programs, and other essential services for their beneficiaries.

This initiative is part of PCSO’s Institutional Partnership Program (IPP), which aims to extend financial support to various welfare agencies and charitable medical facilities.
