Inihayag ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) nitong Miyerkules na nakapaglabas na sila ng higit P2.3-milyon na halaga ng tulong sa bansa sa gitna ng pinsalang dulot ng bagyong Kristine.

“The DSWD has already provided Php2,326,978.60 worth of food and non-food items to the affected local government units (LGUs), specifically in the provinces of Albay, Camarines Sur, and Sorsogon in Bicol Region; Bacolod City in Region 6 (Western Visayas); and North Cotabato in SOCCSKSARGEN,” saad ni DSWD Spokesperson and Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) Assistant Sec. Irene Dumlao.

Patuloy din ang repacking ng mga food packs sa National Resource Operations Center (NROC) sa Pasay City upang matiyak ang sapat na suplay ng mga ayuda.

Ayon sa ulat ng DSWD, umabot na sa 112,437 pamilya o 457,489 indibidwal ang apektado ng bagyong Kristine mula sa halos 815 barangay sa Regions 2, MIMAROPA, 5, 6, 8, 12, at Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
