Nakikiisa si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa pakikidalamhati ng buong bansa sa pagpanaw ni dating Presidente Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, na tinawag niyang “true servant of the people” o tunay na lingkod ng bayan.
“I join the nation in mourning the passing of former President Aquino,” ani P-Duterte. “Let us all take this opportunity to unite in prayer and set aside our differences as we pay respects to a leader who has given his best to serve the Filipino people,” sabi pa ni Pangulong Duterte.
Nagpahayag din ang Chief Executive ng pakikiramay sa mga miyembro ng pamilya ng dating pangulo.
“I express my deepest sympathies to his siblings, Ballsy, Pinky, Viel and Kris, as well as to all his loved ones, friends and supporters in this period of sadness,” saad ni P-Duterte.
“May you take comfort in the knowledge that he is now in a better place with his Creator. His memory and family’s legacy of offering their lives for the cause of democracy will forever remain etched in our hearts,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
Una nang nagpahayag ang Malacañang ng pakikidalamhati sa Aquino family dahil sa maagang pagpanaw ni PNoy sa edad na 61.
