Nag-react ang mga Noranians at kinukuwestiyon ang naging decision ni FDCP Chairman Tirso Cruz III tungkol sa naganap na Parangal Ng Sining Awards last Sunday night at kabilang na nga sa may patama post ay ang kasamahan namin sa PMPC na si Rodel Fernando na true blooded Noranian.
Ang kanyang emote sa FB post niya ay ganitey…
"Ano kaya ang naging pamantayan ng Film Development Council of the Philippines sa paggawad ng Lifetime Achievement Award para kay Ms. Vilma Santos or sa iba pa? In fairness, puwede naman talaga silang bigyan ng award, kaya lang ano'ng pamantayan?
"Kung sasabihin na kahit hindi siya active ay marami siyang naiambag sa Pelikulang Pilipino, eh, paano na ang mga katakut-takot na ambag ni Nora sa pelikula?
"I'm not against Ate Vi pero matagal na siyang hindi active sa movie. Sorry, pero if there’s a TOP actress to be awarded by FDCP, it should be Ms. Nora Aunor being the First ACTOR (Woman) National Artist at aktibo pa rin sa kanyang SINING (pelikula) or sana, dalawa sila ni Ate Vi. I don’t know the basis of TIRSO for choosing Vilma. Hindi FAIR!!! PERSONALAN BA ITO???

"Our National Artist, Ms. Nora Aunor deserves this FDCP award being the First Actor (for generic term, an actor can be a man or a woman) National Artist and she is so active in making more films through the years, plus her numerous lifetime achievement awards here and abroad.
"May we ask Mr. TIRSO CRUZ the basis of choosing Ms. Vilma here in spite of her many years absence in the film industry?
"Is the awarding the main thrust also of FDCP function since its true mandate is to develop more good films here and for the international release.
"With the big budget of FDCP, more than P300 M, which was increased thru the initiatives of Ms. Liza Diño and Congressman Alfred Vargas, can FDCP helped more FILM Makers to develop a good film for competition at par internationally for Oscar’s, Cannes, etc. which is being done by other countries like Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and they’re very successful winning abroad thru the support of the govt.
