Hindi binanggit ni Sheryl Cruz kung anong award-giving body ang nang-snub sa kanya at hindi siya isinama sa list ng mga nominees sa acting category. Pero, ang lalim ng hugot ni Sheryl at napa-post siya twice sa IG Stories.
Sabi nito sa unang post: “Being bypassed or knowing you didn’t make the cut for the efforts you’ve put in completing a successful project is heartbreaking. Then I realize, I’m not here to please the judges just to make the list. I’m a person with God given talents that can’t be compared to anyone and what I do is for the greater glory of the Almighty Father. And that is what I intend to keep doing.”
Ang sumunod na IG stories ni Sheryl, may pasaring siya na hindi niya kailangang bumili ng award.
“At the end of the day, I am grateful and can hold my chin up high knowing I didn't have to buy the recognition I deserve. It’s vindication enough to have the public’s approval for the work I’ve done. Who are the majority and not the critics.”
May pahabol pa siyang, “Nominations, nor awards are not the purpose in my life by continuing my profession as an Actress in the politicized entertainment industry I belong to.”
Kada post ni Sheryl, naka-tag ang Artist Circle Management niya na pinamumunuan ni Rams David na kanyang manager at ang soap niya sa GMA-7 na Magkaagaw.
May nag-comment lang na sana, binanggit ni Sheryl kung anong award-giving body ang tinukoy niya para nasagot siya.
