Naglabas na ng reaksiyon ang radio DJ and podcaster na si Mo Twister sa deklarasyon ng misis niyang si DJ Angelicopter (Angelika Schmeing in real life) na hiwalay na sila.
On his part, nag-second the motion si Mo sa hiwalayan nila ni DJ Angelicopter pagkatapos ng tatlong taon ng kanilang kasal during the 60th episode ng kanyang Good Times with Mo: The Podcast Year 13.
Siyempre, may sariling bersiyon si Mo sa hiwalayan nila ng misis. Sa bersiyon ni Angelicopter, tila selos ang dahilan at nadawit pa nga ang pangalan ng aktres na si Denise Laurel.
Sa lumabas na article sa Push.com na isinulat ni Manila Santos, inilahad ni Mo ang sagot niya sa akusasyon ng kanyang misis.
Ayon kay Mo, “I wanted to reserve this first part of the podcast to address the elephant in the room, as they say, which is my personal life that has kind of come into the news this week, largely fuelled by an Instagram Live that Chopper (Angelika) had a couple of days ago.
“And it was on Monday, I believe it was Sunday, Sunday US, Monday morning when she jumped on Instagram Live and, and said a bunch of things. And I would probably just kind of use this as a place to clarify some of the things that she said.
“I am not here to pick fights or get aggressive. And honestly, that’s just really kind of not what I do. And I mean, the last time you… I don’t want to, I try, I will try my best not to get emotional. And I always have to kind of keep my kids in mind when these things happen because as much as it’s ugly to be in the public about these things.
“Trust me, I am angry. I would like to say a lot of things that you know are in my head, are in things that I’ve experienced, my opinion on certain matters. I would love to give you my version of the story, which I won’t completely because of the reasons I said earlier.”
Ang tinutukoy ni Mo na “said earlier” during his podcast ay ang tungkol sa kanilang wedding anniversary last month.
Nakipag-split daw si Angelika kay Mo sa mismong araw ng kanilang wedding anniversary.
Aside from that, ‘di rin daw naipagdiwang ni Mo ang Father’s Day kasama ang kanyang mga anak after two days.
Ikinasal pala sina Mo at Angelika sa Iceland nu’ng 2021. Pero meron na silang 10-year-old daughter na si Amsterdam at naka-based na sila sa Las Vegas, USA.
Bukod kay Amsterdam, parehong may kani-kanyang anak na sina Angelika at Mo sa iba.
May 15-year-old son na si Angelika na si Lucas at knows naman sa showbiz na may anak si Mo kay Bunny Paras, si Moira.
On the reason(s) ng hiwalayan nila ni Angelika, hindi na raw siya masyadong magdedetalye pa.
“I know she said otherwise, but that’s absolutely the date it happened. She said no chance for reconciliation on her side. Absolutely. But just kind of sometimes I always feel it’s a little self-centered to say there’s no chance we’re getting back together.
“Well, both of us have to agree to that. You know what, when you say a blanket statement like that, it feels like, you know, I make the decision, not me. I mean the person who says that I make the decision, which is very similar to many decisions that are made at home.
“There’s a strong personality and there’s a non-strong personality and a strong personality tends to win and I’m OK with that. I don’t make a lot of decisions around here now. When she said we’ve had, we were having a hard time since January, I don’t know if it goes back as far as January, but it’s been a couple of months and there have been moments where I’ve said, 'Man, I’m out,'” esplika ni Mo.
Ayaw din ni Mo na talakayin ang isyu ng third party as the reason ng breakup nila ni Angelika.
“I don’t want to talk about that either. I do know that the narrative will be that I am jealous, that I am jealous of everybody and all of that. And come on, I’ve had a lot of girlfriends and many of you guys know who they are and I had to see these people kiss other guys for a job and, I’d have had to see them interact with a bunch of (guys).
“Jealousy comes with purpose. Jealousy comes with history. Jealousy comes usually with a track record. For me, there has to be a reason to then I think it’s normal to be jealous. On the other hand, if I am jealous, if I am overly jealous, there is a reason for that, a very tangible reason for it,” pahayag pa ni Mo.
