Dismayado si Regine Velasquez na hindi na matutuloy ang guesting ni Stell Ajero of SB19 sa kanyang Reset concert.
Supposedly ay guest si Stell sa Feb. 21 at sobrang excited pa nga si Regine tungkol dito nang makausap ng press sa mediacon last Tuesday.
Ibinahagi ni Asia’s Songbird sa kanyang Instagram account ang official statement ng kapatid niyang si Cacai Mitra of iMusic Entertainment, Inc. na siyang producer ng Reset.
Ayon sa official statement, hindi na matutuloy ang guesting ni Stell sa Feb. 21 dahil nagkaroon ng conflict sa schedule.
“We regret to inform you that Stell, who was scheduled to perform at our upcoming concert, RESET, on February 21, 2025, will not be able to attend due to a scheduling conflict.
“This unforeseen issue arose from a miscommunication by our production manager. Unfortunately, we were unaware of this situation at the time of the press conference and announcement. It was only afterward that all parties involved were able to resolve the misunderstanding regarding the scheduled guest appearance.
“We understand that many of you were looking forward to seeing Stell perform live with Regine at the concert, and we share in your disappointment. Please know that we are equally saddened by this unexpected change and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause,” bahagi ng official statement ni Cacai.
Nakasaad din na willing ang iMusic na ibalik ang bumili ng tickets for Feb. 21.
“In light of this situation, we are committed to ensuring a fantastic experience for all attendees. We will offer refunds to any fans who purchased tickets in the hope of seeing Stell perform live with Regine. Please note that only tickets purchased from the time of the press conference announcements up until today January 14-15, 2025) are eligible for a refund for the February 21, 2025 show,” saad ng statement.
Sa caption ay inamin ni Songbird na disappointed siya sa nangyari.
“Well I’m a little disappointed but…….(smiling emoji) see you guys,” ani Regine.
KAY Regine pa rin, puspusan na nga ang paghahanda niya para sa kanyang concert.
Natatawa niyang sabi sa mediacon, “Ngayon na medyo jonders (matanda) na ako, siyempre, kailangan, mas may preparation. Kasi iba na ‘yung katawan natin. Nag-iba na rin ‘yung boses mo.”
Kailangan daw na may everyday walking siyang ginagawa as part of exercise at talagang lagi siyang niyayaya ng kanyang mister na si Ogie Alcasid.
“He (Ogie) urges me talaga to exercise every day, to walk every day, in preparation for the concert. Kasi, dapat, hindi ako hinihingal, eh. Kahit na hindi ako magsasayaw, nakakahingal pa rin,” aniya.
Siyempre, kasama rin sa preparasyon niya ang pag-aaral ng kanyang repertoire.
Sinusunod din niya ang ipinagbabawal sa kanya tulad ng maaasim na pagkain. Bawal na bawal daw ang suka.
“Kasi, may acid reflux ako, eh,” katwiran niya.
Bukod sa nasabing concert, isa sa mga nilu-look forward ni Songbird ay ang pagbabalik niya sa acting this year.
“Parang iniisip ko, if there is an offer and if the role is right, if the role is good, I will surely think about it. Kasi, parang ang tagal ko na ring. . . mga 5 or 6 years na hindi umaarte,” she said.
