"… further amplify his call for global solidarity in addressing the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic," ayon sa pahayag ng Office of the President ngayong araw.

"Of particular concern for President Duterte are universal access to COVID-19 technologies and products and the need for global efforts to ensure availability of safe and effective vaccines to people of developing stations," dagdag na statement ng Palasyo.

Matatandaang sinabi ni Duterte na ang pag-access sa COVID-19 vaccines, "must not be denied nor withheld. It should be made available to all, rich and poor nations alike, as a matter of policy," sa general debate 75th session ng UNGA noong September.
