KIM, PROUD NA KERING MAKIPAGSABAYAN SA KOREA NG SERYE NILA NI PAULO

Bibigyan ng Pinoy flavor ang adaptation ng successful na Korean drama series na pagbibidahan nina Kim Chiu at Paulo Avelino, ang What's Wrong with Secretary Kim.

‘Yan ang ini-reveal ni Paulo sa ginanap na media conference ng What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim sa Araneta Center Cubao last Saturday (March 9).

Ayon kay Kim, “As proud Pinoy, maraming inilagay ang mga writers namin and everyone involved dito sa paggawa ng Secretary Kim the Philippine version, maraming Filipino touch such as family-oriented or 'yung mga more comedy side.     

“Actually, kapag pinanood mo siya side by side, medyo parehas siya pero 'yung story namin is more Filipino and mas nakaka-relate 'yung karamihan.”

Habang si Paulo ay hindi itinanggi na may nararamdaman na pressure sa pagtanggap niya ng bagong proyekto with Kim. 

Diin ng aktor, “Of course, there's pressure because whenever you do an adaptation, you will always gonna be compared to the original series and not just that, we're portraying characters that have been portrayed by as you've said, Korean stars, like everyone loves PSJ (Park Seo Joon), everyone loves the female counterpart of Secretary Kim and it's always a pressure." 

One thing is for sure, mas angat at pinaganda ang Pinoy adaptation ng creative/production team ng pinagsanib na puwersa ng ABS-CBN Studios, Dreamscape Entertainment, CJENM at Viu.

Say ni Kim, "Habang ginagawa namin to, 'yung adaptation na 'to, it doesn't feel like work, tapos when we see the outcome and the finished product.

“Hindi naman lahat napanood namin pero may mga clips lang na napanood sa tulong ng mga directors namin and creatives na parang 'Ay, ang saya!' Nagawa ng mga Pinoy 'yung ganitong klase, na puwede tayong makipagsabayan sa Korea.” 

Present sa mediacon ang all-star cast ng pinakabagong collaboration project ng Dreamscape Entertainment at Viu kung saan ibinida ang Pinoy version ng hit K-drama series na magsisimulang mapanaood via streaming app na Viu on March 18, kasama ang iba pang mga aktres at aktor ng ABS-CBN.
