Thankful si Lorna Tolentino (LT) na malamang happy si Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos na napunta sa kanya ang role na ina ni Judy Ann Santos sa forthcoming film nila na Espantaho.
Unang inialok kay Vilma ang role ni Lorna sa Espantaho. Umingay pa nga nu’ng unang pumutok ang balita ang posibilidad na magsama sina Vilma at Judy Ann for that project.
But it turns out na tinanggihan ni Vilma ang Espantaho and opted to do ang horror movie rin under Mentorque Productions with Nadine Lustre.
If ever mapili sa natitirang slots sa MMFF, baka magkabanggaan ang movie ni LT with Judy Ann at ‘yung kay Vilma with Nadine.
“Ay… naku,” napabuntong-hininga na sabi ni Lorna.
Sey niya, “Pero maraming salamat kay Ate Vi, kay Ate Vi talaga ‘yung role na ‘yun.
“Kaya kahit magkasabay ang movie namin sa MMFF, okey lang kasi happy naman si Ate Vi na ako ‘yung nakuha for that role. So, happy lang. Let’s all be happy.”
Tapos na raw ang shoot ni Lorna para sa Espantaho under Chito Roño’s direction, at ginagawa na lang ang special effects.
This is the second horror movie na naidirek si Lorna ni Chito. Ang una ay ‘yung remake ng Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara noong 1995. Second time rin lang nakasama ni Lorna si Judy Ann.
“Nakasama ko s’ya pero maikli lang sa Mano Po. Hindi kami halos nagkaeksena. So, first time talaga na mag-ina kami. So, talagang ang tawag na nga niya sa ‘kin, ‘Nay’. Anak naman ang tawag ko sa kanya. Tapos, exchange kami nang exchange ng pagkain,” kuwento ni Lorna.
Nakausap namin si Lorna sa grand launch ng Belle Dolls at ng celebrity endorsers ng sikat na beauty and wellness product company ni Rhea Tan, ang Beautederm.
Kitang-kita ang sigla at glow ng negosyante sa nasabing launch. Kabilang sa mga unang batch ng ambassadors na ipinakilala sa media ay sina Ysabel Ortega, Miguel Tanfelix, Sofia Pablo at Shaira Diaz — na equally talented at glowing.

Si Ricardo ay gumaganap bilang si Richardson Wu sa ABS-CBN's hit series starring Coco Martin.
Sa episode 435 of the action-drama, si Richardson ay mapapanood na nakikipag-usap kay Angkong (Joonee Gamboa) sa telepono.
Noong episode last Thursday, ipinakita na dumating na sa Manila si Richardson para umpisahang tulungan si Angkong.
Naging bahagi ng BQ si Ricardo bago siya maaresto nu'ng October last year for ‘syndicated estafa’.
Sa isang panayam ng ABS-CBN kay Ricardo ilang araw after ng kanyang paglaya sa kulungan sa Tuguegarao, nagpadala raw siya agad ng mensahe kay Coco after he received confirmation that he is set for release.
Pagbabahagi ni Ricardo, “When I got the release, lahat ng kaibigan ko… minessage ko. Sabi ko, ‘Confirmed na. I’m released.’ Right away, nag-respond s’ya. Sabi n’ya, they wanted to help me more than they could. 'Ibabalik namin ‘yung character mo.’”
Aside from the return of Richardson, ipinakilala rin sa BQ ang newest character na si Atty. Vera Saldivar portrayed by actress Maika Rivera. Si Atty. Saldivar ang namamahala ng estate left by the Caballero family.
