“Well, okay naman ‘yung paghahanda namin. Kahapon, we went to the venue na, you know.

We did the ocular and everything 'coz I’m also directing the show,” bungad ni Ice nu’ng mainterbyu namin kahapon sa live online show na #CelebrityBTS Bulgaran Na sa Facebook page ng BULGAR every Saturday, 11 AM, with Entertainment editor na si Ateng Janiz Navida.

“Most of the time when I have concerts like ‘yung solo ones, ako rin. Kasi, ewan ko, parang siguro as an artist, 35 years na rin ako dito, I know what I want. And the thing is, I also know how to execute what I want.

“So, ang importante lang naman is to have a really good time. If you have a really good team, you have nothing to worry about. If you planned it, kung talagang napag-usapan ninyo, naihanda ninyo, nakapag-prepare nang maayos, then, wala kang iisipin.

“Well, I know it’s an added pressure. I won’t… hindi ko itatago ‘yun, but at the same time, ayokong ma-miss ‘yung opportunity na ako ‘yung gumawa roon sa sarili kong show. And we got a lot of help. Liza (Diño, his partner) is having a big time rin.

“Basta ito ang masasabi ko, all the guests are people that matter to me. Kumbaga, I’m celebrating basically my life not just my career. These people are the people na who have inspired me, who have been a big part of my life because they are my mentors, nakasama ko sila.

“Okey, sige. Definitely, nandoon si Tito Vic (Sotto),” sabi niya.

“And why Becoming Ice ang title? Kumbaga, most of you know I started as Aiza Seguerra, right?

And a lot of things that basically happened in my life and career has brought me to where I am now. I’m Ice now. Ice, the transgender-man/singer/director/actor. So, basically, this concert is about me becoming who I am now.”

Kasama sa list of songs niya sa concert ang super-mega hit song niya na Pagdating ng Panahon at ang single niya na ini-release last year which is 'Wag Kang Aalis.

May dalawang kanta naman para kay Ice ang best na makakapag-describe ng nangyari sa kanyang personal and professional life.

“There are two songs resonating me, sobra, lately. The first one is This is Me, the one from the movie The Greatest Showman. And the second one is Both Sides Now."

“Uhm, as a depressive for more than 17 years na, I have peace despite the fact that I have depression. I have accepted and embraced that it will always be there. Pero like today, I’ll be fine.

Tomorrow, I don’t know. Pero at least today, okay ako.

“So, parang it’s more about just living in the present and whatever happens tomorrow will happen tomorrow. Hayaan mo na lang, ‘di ba?

“So, ngayon, parang seizing the day lang.

“Definitely, Pagdating ng Panahon is on top of my head. Pagiging child star ko and then, pagiging director ko. So, those three are the most important ones because when I did Little Miss Philippines I became a child star. And thus began my journey in the entertainment industry. So, naging artista ako, ‘di ba?

“I had shows. I had films, etc. Hosting also, ‘di ba?

“And then, Pagdating ng Panahon naman, I won’t become a singer. Ang laking bagay noon because it’s something that I love. And being a singer opened-up a new door for me like I became also a composer. I became a song producer, album producer and then, my directing gig. So, ‘di ba?”

“I mean, for me, if it is a good script, then, I would probably do everything I need to do to give a chance.”

“We’re having a hard time because ‘di ba, nag-pandemic? And since walang IVF dito sa Philippines, I mean may IVF but it’s only for married couples. So, we couldn’t go anywhere.

And I think, isa lang ‘yan sa mga issues to be addressed like doctors doesn’t want to do it here. It’s not because it’s illegal but because it’s unethical.

“Let’s say you have a country like Malaysia, it is a Muslim country but they allow it there. Ang kaisa-isa lang na rule nila roon is you cannot get a semen’s sample from a Muslim man. But that’s okay, ‘yun ang rule ng religion nila.

“It is available but, now… may mga exemptions like ‘yun. Because of religion, you cannot get semen from a Muslim national. Pero other than that, you are free to get wherever you like to be the donor of the sperm.

That makes me sad. At hindi lang ‘yun, hindi lang nga LGBTQ, eh, but even single moms, single parents, may issue pa. Parang, ano ba? How backward can...

Siguro, mga three to four years na raw naka-frozen ang eggs niya.
