Showbiz News

Carla was put on a heavy diet, platito-sized meals at 100g lang ang puwede niyang kainin. Five months after seeing Dr. Angeles pa raw siya nagsimulang pumayat at masaya nitong ibinalitang she lost 18 lbs. na.

“It took 5 months for the ball to get rolling but boy, it was worth it. All the trips to his clinic, strict dieting, strong willpower, discipline, concoction of medication and perseverance. Dr. Angeles’ smile was back whenever I’d see him, but my smile has been much bigger,” pagse-share ni Carla ng kanyang journey.

May pahabol na pasasalamat si Carla Abellana sa kanyang doctor, “I can’t thank you enough, Dr. Angeles. And pats on the back to myself too, for not giving up.”

Sey ni Michelle, “It was my privilege to (finally) present the Voice For Change award to @autismphils after our nationwide upward battle to win this special award. Alam natin ‘yan #wmmm.

“This award will be allotted to the presented VFC project that adheres to one of the @unitednations 17 Sustainable Development Goals for Economic Empowerment for individuals on the autism spectrum.

“In other words, this award will be mainly focused on AP’s #AutismWorks program that aims to  provide full-time employment or opportunities to earn for our brothers and sisters who have autism. At the time of my VFC presentation we have employed and provided training to over 300+ individuals and we believe this number can grow exponentially.”
