First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos thanked Go Negosyo for providing entrepreneurship mentoring at the LAB for All social and medical services caravan as the nationwide initiative visited Bayambang, Pangasinan last February 6, 2025.
The First Lady thanked the non-profit organization during her speech during the LAB for All event held at the Pavilion 1 Saint Vincent Ferrer Prayer Park, where Go Negosyo brought its popular 3M on Wheels entrepreneurship mentoring to guide the beneficiaries of LAB for All in their small businesses through one-on-one mentoring by 29 Go Negosyo mentors who volunteered for the event.
“Entrepreneurship mentoring is one step in helping people by giving them the means to lift themselves out of poverty,” said Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion. “LAB for All allows our entrepreneurship mentors to reach more people in these small communities,” he said. Go Negosyo’s mentoring complemented the other services offered to Bayambang beneficiaries. Alongside the medical services such as diagnostic and medical consultations, beneficiaries also received business-related services such as assistance in business licensing and distribution of inputs for livelihood opportunities.
Nearly 200 small entrepreneurs from the town lined up to consult with the entrepreneurship experts. Local business organizations Metro Dagupan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Western Pangasinan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants helped organize volunteer mentors for the event.
Concepcion thanked its private sector partners and the DTI Region 1 and DTI Pangasinan, the Bayambang LGU, DSWD Region 1, and the Bayambang Polytechnic College for their on-ground support during the event.
Go Negosyo has been supporting since January 2024 the First Lady’s initiative to bring primary services closer to Filipinos across the country. It has sent its entrepreneurship mentors to several LAB for All caravans nationwide, including La Union, Cagayan, Isabela, Zamboanga City, Misamis Oriental, Zambales, Davao del Norte, Mandaluyong City, Bacolod, Leyte, Sorsogon, and Quezon City.
