Sinimulan na ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang pagdi-dispatch ng mga election equipments, peripherals, forms at supplies na siyang gagamitin sa May 2022 elections.
“Election items that are ongoing deployment from the Comelec warehouse in Sta. Rosa Laguna to local hubs nationwide include the vote counting machine external batteries, until 31 March, and ballot boxes, until 10 April," ayon sa komisyon nitong Huwebes.
Ang mga non-accountable forms at supplies ay idi-dispatch sa February 16 mula Comelec warehouse sa Quezon City patungong provincial at city treasurers sa mga prayoridad na lugar sa bansa
Ang mga VCMs, consolidation at canvassing system (CCS) machines at transmission equipment ay ide-deploy naman mula April 2 hanggang 19.
Sinabi rin ng Comelec na ang mga official ballots at indelible ink mula sa National Printing Office ay ipapadala sa mga city at municipal treasurers mula April 20 hanggang May 5.
Sa report ng News5 noong February 8, nasa 17,502,631 ballots na ang na-print as of February 8.
“Notice has been given to all political parties, political candidates, party-list groups and accredited citizens’ arms of the Commission through the modes mandated by law," dagdag pa nito.
Ang official campaign season para sa mga kandidato sa national posts ay nagsimula noong February 8.
Samantala, sinimulan na rin ng Comelec representatives ang pagbabaklas ng campaign materials na nakapaskil sa public places sa labas ng common poster areas noong Martes.
