Tuluyang nagretiro ang 'Dancing Usec' ng Department of Health (DOH) na si Enrique Tayag matapos ang kanyang 35 taong serbisyo.
Pinasalamatan ng DOH sa flag ceremony nila nu'ng Lunes ng umaga sa pangunguna ng Health Sec. na si Ted Herbosa si Tayag sa kanyang naging serbisyo.
Nagpatunay si Herbosa sa naging pagsisilbi sa 'Pinas ni Tayag, magmula sa pagiging doktor hanggang sa pagiging opisyal ng gobyerno.
“On behalf of the entire Department and the health sector, I thank Usec. Eric Tayag for his time and talent all these decades in the service of the Philippine health sector. I am witness to his well-deserved progression from a young infectious disease doctor and epidemiologist, to health Undersecretary, Chief Information Officer, and DOH spokesperson,” saad ni Herbosa.
Ayon kay Herbosa, naniniwala siyang itutuloy ni Tayag ang kanyang paglilingkod sa bansa kahit na nagretiro na ito.
Samantala, papalitan ni Assistant Sec. Albert Domingo bilang officer-in-charge si Tayag sa iniwan nitong posisyon.
