Dagdag na paaralan at grade levels sa face-to-face classes sa Enero, pinaghahandaan

Nakatakdang irekomenda ng Department of Education (DepEd) kay Pangulong Duterte sa susunod na taon ang "progressive expansion," kung saan may dagdag na paaralan at grade levels na kasali na rin sa physical classes.


"Halimbawa, by first week ng January, mayroong hundreds of schools ang nag-qualify na, they can start [face-to-face classes] already. And then by the second week, mayroon another 100," ani DepEd Planning Service Director Roger Masapol.


Batay naman sa komento ng mga estudyante at guro, kulang ang pinatutupad na 3 hanggang 4 na oras na in-person classes upang matalakay ang kanilang learning concerns kaya posible ring magpatupad ng adjustment sa class hours ang kagawaran.


"It was very challenging, but it's not for us to complain because our country has survived so many challenges, so many crisis," ani Education Secretary Leonor Briones.


"Education must continue. Education must never stop,"dagdag niya.


Prayoridad pa rin ang kaligtasan ng mga estudyante at school personnel, giit ni Briones.

"So far, wala namang na-COVID," ani Briones ukol sa mga lumahok sa pilot face-to-face classes na natapos noong Disyembre 17.


Samantala, nagpaalala naman ang DepEd sa mga magulang, estudyante, guro at iba pang katuwang sa pag-aaral na mag-ingat at palaging sumunod sa health protocols.
