COVID-19 tests muling ni-require sa mga hotel guests sa Subic Freeport

Muling ni-require ang negative COVID-19 test result sa mga bibisita sa mga hotels at accommodation facilities sa loob ng Subic free port.


Ito ay dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa.


Sa isang pahayag nitong Martes, sinabi ni Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chair and Administrator Wilma Eisma, na kailangang magpakita ng negative antigen results na isinagawa sa loob ng nakalipas na 24 oras o reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests na ini-release 48 hours bago mag-check-in ang mga hotel guests.

“While interzonal travel is allowed under Alert Level 3, we want to take the extra step in ensuring the health and safety, not only of our visitors in the Freeport, but also of our local businesses, workers, and stakeholders,” ani Eisma.


Aniya pa, ang mga bisita ay kailangan ding magpakita ng vaccination cards kapag papasok sa free port, habang ang mga hindi bakunado ay required na magpakita ng negative RT-PCR test results.

Batay sa Alert Level 3 guidelines ng IATF, hindi required ang antigen o RT-PCR tests para sa interzonal travel maliban na lamang kung ire-require ng mga establisimyento o event organizers.


“[But] because of the recent surge in COVID-19 infections, there is a need for us to enforce stricter measures for the sake of both visitors and locals, and to keep Subic businesses going,” paliwanag pa ni Eisma.
