Pasok ang University of the Philippines at De La Salle University sa World University Rankings 2021 ng Times Higher Education (THE).
Ito ang second consecutive year kung saan kasama ang UP sa 401-500 bracket sa annual rankings ng 1,500 universities sa buong mundo.
Pahayag ng UP’s Times Higher Education, “UP is largely seen as one of the best Filipino universities in national rankings and among the top institutions in Asia. Recent improvements include academic reputation and international faculty ratio.”
Samantala, ang DLSU ay nakapasok sa 1001+ bracket.
Saad ng DLSU, “Acknowledged as a premier university in the Philippines, it serves as a significant resource for the country and rest of the global society by developing leaders and achievers in business, public service, education, science and technology, and the arts.”
Ang batayan ng THE sa naturang rankings ng mga universities sa buong mundo ay ang “performance indicators” sa larangan ng pagtuturo, “research, knowledge transfer” at “international outlook.”
Samantala, ito na ang fifth consecutive year kung saan nangunguna pa rin sa listahan ang University of Oxford.
