Sherwin Gatchalian ay nakasaad, “tertiary level students may volunteer as tutors provided that they are at or above the 75th percentile of their respective schools in the subject that they will be teaching.”

Sa ginanap na committee hearing ngayong Martes, sinabi ng chief education program supervisor ng DepEd-National Capital Region na si Jennifer Vivas na bilang mga senior high school students progress, aniya, “the percentage of learners who are not proficient is increasing [especially in Science, Math, and English].”

“Through the ARAL Program, the culture of tutoring, collaboration ay mas nating mapapaigting... Ang bago po dito is using, tapping our college learners,” pahayag ni Vivas.

“Hindi po siya nag-go against in the existing remediation. It is actually strengthening, reinforcing pa,” dagdag nito.

“In terms of possible tutors, first point would be to maybe not include the current teacher as the tutor. For 2 reasons: number 1, they are already overworked. But number 2, they are the same people that are teaching the same students,” paliwanag ni Tenazas.

“So if there are some issues in the classroom that might be leading to poor learning, we might be perpetuating this, we might just be repeating this in the tutoring session,” sabi pa nito.

The role of senior students as mentors for juniors is really important because they help newcomers to adapt more easily to the learning process and solve academic problems. I believe that such support can significantly reduce stress and improve academic performance. In my studies, I turned to specialists for help with writing complex scientific papers. Thanks to the service of academic paper ghostwriter, I received quality support in the execution of projects, which helped me better focus on other aspects of my studies.
