Pumanaw na si Cebu City Councilor at former congressman Antonio Cuenco dahil sa pandemic Covid-19 nitong Sabado, June 27 sa edad na 84.
Saad ng anak ni Cuenco na si former Cebu City Councilor James Anthony Cuenco, "It happened so fast and has left us very shocked to realize that the good man that we have had the opportunity to have as our father and a good husband to my mother, Nancy, is gone."
Sabado ng umaga nang isugod sa ospital si Cuenco at kahapunan ay binawian na ito ng buhay. Siya ang kauna-unahang opisyal ng Cebu City na nagpositibo sa Covid-19.
