Umalis mula sa executive committee ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict o NTF-ELCAC ang Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Commission on Public Affairs executive secretary na si Father Jerome Secillano.
Ito ay para mapanatili ang kalayaan ng CBCP bilang isang organisasyon.
"We can always tell them the issues on the ground. We can always be somehow honest with them," ani Secillano.
Dagdag niya, mas magiging direkta ang panel ng CBCP sa NTF-ELCAC matapos maputol ang kanilang koneksiyon sa isa't isa.
