Pormal nang itinalaga ng House of Representatives si Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano bilang tagapangalaga ng Camarines Sur 1st District sa ginanap na plenary session nitong Miyerkules.
Saad ni Deputy Majority Leader Wilter Wee Palma II, “Mr. Speaker, in the interest of the people of the 1st District of Camarines Sur, I move that we designate the Speaker, Alan Peter ‘Campañero’ S. Cayetano, as the legislative caretaker of the 1st District of Camarines Sur.”
Wala namang tumutol sa naturang pahayag ni Palma.
Ang dating tagapangalaga ng Camarines Sur 1st District ay si Marissa Andaya na pumanaw nitong July 5 dahil sa sakit na cancer.
