Inuudyok ni Gov. Rhodora "Dodod" Cadiao ang isang masusing imbestigasyon hinggil sa bus accident na ikinamatay ng 19 katao sa Hamtic, Antique noong Disyembre 5.
Inirerekomenda niya kay Police Col. Rogelio Abran Jr., ang hepe ng pulisya sa Antique, na siguruhing makuha ang dashcam footage at memory card mula sa Vallacar Transit Inc., ang operator ng Ceres bus na nasangkot sa aksidente.
“I appeal to Police Col. Abran to facilitate the return of the equipment and seek assistance from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to delve into the specifics of what transpired with the Ceres bus. We must scrutinize every angle to understand the reasons behind this tragedy,” pahayag ni Cadiao.
Ayon sa VTI, sira ang dashcam at itinatago nila ang memory card na naglalaman ng mga nakuhang footage.
“Let us examine every aspect of what occurred last December 5. Whether it was a mechanical issue or related to road design. We need a comprehensive understanding,” sabi ni Cadiao.
