“Just sell ABS-CBN” ito ang ipinaalala ng mga mambabatas sa may-ari ng network nitong Biyernes na sinabi rin ni Pangulong Duterte noong nakaraang Disyembre .
Ayon kay House Deputy Speaker Luis Raymund "LRay" Villafuerte dahil 70 na mambabatas ang hindi sumang-ayon na muling mabigyan ng bagong prangkisa ang ABS-CBN dahil pareho lang ang mamamahala nito ay mauulit lang diumano ang scenario na ilalabag ng mga ito, “ "they might experience the same scenario where they will be again denied,"
"My suggestion to the Lopez family, they just sell the corporation and if they really love the 11,000 employees or more, and they really want to serve the Filipino people, ibenta na lang nila iyong kumpanya (they should just sell the company)," dagdag pa nito
Susuportahan daw niya ang ABS-CBN sa bagong prangkisa nito kung bago ang mamamala o nagma-may-ari ng network.
"I will support the renewal under new management and ownership," aniya
At kung sakaling ibenta naman ito ng ABS-CBN sinabi ni "LRay", "Big companies can run it, provide the manpower, financial, economic, technical expertise to run the company."
