8 pang bansa, oks ang COVID-19 vax certificates – Malacañang

Walo pang karagdagang bansa ang kinikilala na ng gobyerno ang kanilang mga national COVID-19 vaccination certificates, ayon sa Malacañang ngayong Lunes.


Sinabi ni acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles na ito ang inilabas ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) sa ilalim ng Resolution 162-B, kung saan nire-recognize na ng pamahalaan ang mga COVID-19 vaccination certificates mula sa Egypt, Maldives, Palau, Albania, Estonia, Greece, Malta at Uruguay, aniya, “for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols, as well as for interzonal/intrazonal movement.”


“This is in addition to other countries/territories/jurisdictions whose proofs of vaccination the IATF has already approved for recognition in the Philippines, and without prejudice to such other proofs of vaccination approved by the IATF for all inbound travelers,” paliwanag ni Nograles.


Ayon pa kay Nograles, nagbigay na rin ng direktiba ang IATF sa Bureau of Quarantine, Department of Transportation - One-Stop-Shop at Bureau of Immigration, na kilalanin lamang ang mga katibayan o patunay ng vaccination na inaprubahan ng IATF.
