Nasa 6,000 indibidwal kada araw ang kayang tanggapin sa vaccination site sa Solaire Hotel sa Parañaque City para maturukan ng Moderna doses ng COVID-19 vaccine, ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
Ito ang naging pahayag ni Roque kasabay ng pagbisita ng mga Israeli experts sa Solaire COVID-19 vaccination site.
“We expect that the capacity of this vaccination center will reach up to 6,000 a day,” ani Roque ngayong Miyerkules.
“The employees of private firms who bought Moderna [sa ilalim ng tripartite deal ng national government at Moderna] will have to go here to get their vaccine,” sabi ng kalihim.
Ayon kay Roque, ang inisyatibong ito ng naturang private sector ay malaking tulong sa gobyerno kaugnay sa vaccination program na layong makapagbakuna ng 500,000 katao kada araw upang makamit ng bansa ang target na herd immunity bago magtapos ang taon. “We already reached 350,000 [individuals vaccinated in] a day.
You can just imagine if the private sector starts using their facilities and vaccinating people using their own personnel, this will be a game changer,” saad ni Roque. “This is very significant as we aim to vaccinate 500,000 per day,” dagdag niya. Ang nasabing private sector ay nakapag-procure ng 7 milyong doses ng Moderna vaccine.
