Nagbukas ng karagdagang 44 ruta ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) at pinayagan na rin ang operasyon ng 4,820 public utility jeepney (PUJ) units sa Metro Manila.
Pahayag ng LTFRB nitong Martes, 27,016 na ang total ng traditional PUJs na maaaring bumiyahe sa 302 open routes sa Metro Manila ngayong isinailalim na ito sa general community quarantine (GCQ).
Ayon sa LTFRB, ang mga sumusunod ay ang total number ng operating routes and units para sa modes of public transportation sa Metro Manila:
Traditional public utility jeepney (PUJ) – 302 routes, 27,016 units ang maaaring bumiyahe;
Modern PUJ – 48 routes, 845 units;
Public utility bus (PUB) – 34 routes, 4,016 units;
Point-to-point bus – 34 routes, 387 units;
UV Express – 76 routes, 3,263 units;
Taxi - 20,927 units;
Transport network vehicles services (TNVS) - 24,356 units;
Provincial public utility bus (PUB) – 12 routes, 286 units;
Modern UV Express – two routes, 40 units
Nangako naman ang LTFRB na magbubukas pa ng karagdagang ruta sa mga susunod na buwan para sa mga komyuter.
