Nasa kabuuang 43,332 pampubliko at pribadong establisimyento ang naisyuhan na ng safety seal certifications sa buong bansa, ayon sa national agencies ngayong Martes.
Sa isang joint statement, hinimok ni Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez ang iba pang mga negosyo na i-adopt na rin ang naturang seal bilang bahagi ng paglaban ng industriya sa COVID-19.
Ang safety seal ay patunay na ang isang establisimyento ay sumusunod sa minimum public health standards kontra-COVID-19.
“Businesses can do their share in the fight against the pandemic and create a healthy space for consumers to transact their purchases and for employees to gainfully and safely earn a living,” ani Lopez.
Sa kasalukuyan, nakatanggap ang Safety Seal Technical Working Group ng 85,731 aplikasyon, kung saan 43,332 applications ang naaprubahan na habang ang 9,858 applications, ilan dito ay denied o ini-refer sa naaangkop na ahensiya.
Ang natitira namang aplikasyon ay patuloy pang iniinspeksyon.
Para sa mga establisimyento na naghahangad na mag-apply para sa safety seal, kinakailangang i-adopt ang StaySafe.PH o anumang local government unit (LGU)-mandated digital contact tracing application at magpatupad ng minimum health standards laban sa virus.
“The implementation of the Safety Seal Program is a very laudable initiative that highly reinforces our country’s response to combat COVID-19,” ayon kay Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III said.
“As we gradually reopen our economy, it is important to ensure that our people are safe, and adherence to Minimum Public Health Standards is one vital key to this aspect,” dagdag pa ni Duque.
