“Not yet fit to work,” ang deklarasyon ni Kris Aquino sa kanyang latest post sa Instagram (IG).
Nagbigay ng update si Kris tungkol sa kanyang health condition para sa kaalaman ng lahat, especially sa mga nag-e-expect na babalik na siya sa showbiz.
Pumutok kasi ang balitang okey na si Kris at niluluto na raw ang show na kanyang lalabasan, and that she’ll be hosting again on television.
Pero mukhang hindi ito matutuloy as of now, base na rin sa pagdedetalye ni Kris ng kanyang health condition on her latest IG post.
Sabi ni Kris sa kanyang IG post, “Dr. @rainiertanalgo (he’s my pain management doctor), and Dr. @hazeldavidmd. I haven’t posted anything because I didn’t want all those praying for me to feel sad & lose their faith.
“May I clarify? I'm not yet ‘fit to work’ because I’m very underweight 37 kilos/82 pounds. My deal with my team of doctors (Dr. Jombi, Dr. Jonnel, @drkatcee who is now mourning the loss of her father, and Dr. Rainier) is that my WBC doesn't fall below 5.5 for 4 straight weeks, my hemoglobin improves to at least a 9.5 (my anemia is both hereditary & nutritional); and my weight holds steady at 90 pounds/40.8 kilos.
“Previously I enumerated 1. Autoimmune Thyroiditis; 2. Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria; 3. EGPA: a rare, life-threatening form of Vasculitis; 4. Systemic Sclerosis; 5. Lupus/SLE; and 6. Rheumatoid Arthritis as my diagnosed autoimmune disease. Added to that list is 7. Fibromyalgia. I have been exhibiting confirmatory symptoms for 8. Polymyositis as well as 9. Mixed Connective Tissue Disease.

“My ready reply is: CryBaby for now ang hino-hoard ko... kung kilala n’yo ko, songs I choose reveal feelings I prefer not to elaborate on.
“Having complicated autoimmune diseases and being allergic to all NSAIDs, steroids, pain relievers, as well as antibiotics and Immunoglobulin Therapy, many times the physical pain is overwhelming.”

PURING-PURI ng mga bida ng pelikulang The Caretakers (TC) na sina Iza Calzado at Dimples Romana ang isa’t isa.
Sa ginanap na mediacon ng TC ay natanong sina Iza at Dimples sa working relationship nila sa set ng latest movie nila under Regal Films and Rein Entertainment Productions na ipapalabas na sa Wednesday, February 26.
Pahayag ni Dimples, “Sabi siguro ni Lord, ‘Ay, pagtagpuin ko kayo ni Iza. Kasi wala kang time makipagkaibigan ngayon, ‘di ba?’
“So, ilagay ko ‘yung puwede mong maging kaibigan sa trabaho para masaya, oo. So, sabi ko,
‘Ay, ang ganda, Lord. Thank you, Lord, para sa regalo na makasama ko si Iza.’
“Kasi every time she would say and I always asked tips from you (Iza), ang ‘di n’ya alam I always watch her kahit na medyo tulog po ako. Kasi lagi po akong tulog sa set. Hahaha!
“I have been renewed as a mother because of her new energy. It’s really the effort of Iza that I admired the most because of common respect on set.
“Tama si Iza when she said na kailangan gagabayan mo ang artista kasi minsan hindi mo alam kung gusto ba niyang mag-shine ngayon. Or gusto ba n’yang magbigay?
“Ako naman marespeto ako sa ganu’n kasi lumaki ako sa mga beterana. Kaya alam ko magbigay. ‘Yan ang pinakamagaling ako, sa totoo lang, ang magbigay.
“‘Yun ang gift ko kasi I don’t know anything else. I grew up in this business and when you grew up to be a support character, you always remind yourself to know your place.
“This is where I am at. And being a support doesn’t mean you’re on the sideline. You hold up those who are supposed to shine at that moment.
“And then, you wait for your moment to come. For me the biggest gift of this film is that Iza and I work as a team. Nobody wanted to outshine one another and that’s why and that’s what you can see on the film. Makikita mo, eh.
“Kaya nu’ng tiningnan ko, ang ganda. Ang sarap magsayaw ‘pag ang kasayaw mo, hindi nananapak ng paa.”
Kaya para kay Dimples, nadagdagan siya ng bagong kaibigan or BFF sa showbiz sa katauhan ni Iza.
Hindi naman lingid sa marami na super BFF ni Dimples sina Angel Locsin at Bea Alonzo.
Anyway, parehong naniniwala sina Iza at Dimples na may chance ang movie nila na kumita sa takilya after watching TC during the special red carpet screening of the said movie.
In fairness, maganda talaga ang The Caretakers kaya huwag palampasin sa sinehan.
