32 katao pinatay, 20 bahay sinunog ng gunmen

Patay ang 32 katao at 20 bahay naman ang sinunog ng mga gunmen sa western Ethiopia noong Linggo, ayon kay Regional Administrator Elias Umeta.

Aniya, ang mga armadong lalaki ay mula sa grupo ng OLF Shane ng Western Wollega Zone, rehiyon ng Oromiya.

Ang grupong OLF Shane ay humiwalay sa Oromo Liberation Front, isang opposition party.

Ayon naman sa Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, target ng mga gunmen ang mga taong mula sa ethnic Amharic group.

Pahayag ni Chief Commissioner Daniel Bekele, "They were dragged from their homes and taken to a school where they were killed.

" These gruesome killings of civilians are unconscionable and flout basic principles of humanity."
