21,000 trabaho, bubuksan — DOLE

Tinatayang nasa 21,000 trabaho, local at overseas, ang alok ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) sa mga Filipino sa gaganapin nitong online job fair ngayong darating na linggo.


Ayon sa DOLE, naghahanap ng trabahador ang 600 domestic companies pati na rin ang 15 licensed recruitment agencies na konektado sa Bahrain, Falkland Islands, Germany, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Japan, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Micronesia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Palau, Qatar, Singapore, Taiwan at Turks and Caicos. Ilan sa mga puwedeng pasukang trabaho rito ay factory workers, nurses, nursing aides, care workers, engineers, CAD operators, telecommunications rigging technicians, maintenance technicians, carpenters, foremen, laborers at building cleaning workers.


Bukod pa rito, naghahanap din ang ilang kumpanya ng supervisors, physical fitness coaches, cake decorators, cooks, food servers, restaurant workers, waiters, waitresses, counter service staff at service staff.


Ang online job fair na ito ay sa pakikipagtulungan sa Bureau of Local Employment and Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) na gaganapin sa Huwebes at Biyernes (Disyembre 10 & 11).


Kaya naman, para sa lahat ng gustong mag-apply, ihanda na ang digital copies ng inyong resume o curriculum vitae at iba pang application requirements tulad ng certificate of employment, diploma at transcript of record.


Samantala, umabot sa 8.7% ang unemployment rate sa Pilipinas nitong Oktubre ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Ito ay katumbas ng 3.8 milyong indibidwal.
