Ipade-deport ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang 15 Chinese nationals na napag-alamang ilegal na nagtatrabaho sa bansa.
Ayon kay Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente, inaresto ng awtoridad ang mga naturang Chinese nationals noong Miyerkules sa isang business center sa Barangay Niog II sa Bacoor, Cavite.
Aniya, “Our operatives saw 15 foreigners working in different warehouses in the area. Upon verification of their documents, it was found that 10 of them had working visas petitioned by a different company.”
Ayon sa ulat ng BI Intelligence Division, nagtatrabaho bilang office staff at stock managers ang mga naturang Chinese sa mga warehouse.
Samantala, sasailalim umano ang mga Chinese nationals sa RT-PCR testing at quarantine at pansamantalang ide-detain sa Warden Facility ng BI sa Bicutan, Taguig City. Saad pa ni Morente, “We urge foreign nationals to legitimize their stay here in the country, lest they face expulsion and blacklisting.”
