100 kph, maximum speed sa Expressway

Pinaaalalahanan ng Toll Expressways in the Philippines ang mga motorista sa lahat ng expressway na sumunod sa speed limit requirements upang makatiyak sa kaligtasan ng bawat pasahero at biyahero.


Batay sa inilabas na paalala ng Toll Regulatory Board, nakasaad sa ibaba ang mga sumusunod na maximum speed limit sa bawat expressway sa bansa:


· Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEx): 100kph

· Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx): 100 kph

· North Luzon Expressway (NLEx): 80 kph (bus at trucks), 100 kph (cars)

· Cavite Expressway (CAVITEx): 80 kph (bus at trucks), 100 kph (cars)

· NAIA Expressway (NAIAx): 60 kph

· Skyway: 80 kph (bus at trucks), 100 kph (cars)

· South Luzon Expressway (SLEx): 80 kph (bus at trucks), 100 kph (cars)

· Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX): 80 kph (bus at trucks), 100 kph (cars)

· Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway now Apolinario Mabini Super Highway: 80 kph (bus at trucks), 100 kph (cars)


Sa ngayon ay nananatili pa rin sa 60 kph ang minimum speed limit.


Samantala, ang mga mahuhuling violator o under-speeding at over-speeding ay papatawan ng karampatang parusa sa ilalim ng Land Transportation at Traffic Code.
