20 patay sa pag-atake sa Yemen

Aabot sa 20 katao ang namatay at marami ang sugatan sa naganap na pag-atake sa Aden, Yemen noong Miyerkules matapos dumating sa airport ang eroplanong sakay ang bagong government cabinet.

Wala namang naiulat na sugatan sa hanay ng mga cabinet ministers at mabilis na inilikas ang mga ito at agad na dinala sa presidential palace sa Aden. Ilang oras matapos ang insidente ay muling nagkaroon ng pagsabog sa Palasyo kung saan naroon din si Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalek.

Pahayag naman ni Abdulmalek sa kanyang Twitter account, “We and the members of the government are in the temporary capital of Aden and everyone is fine, the cowardly terrorist act that targeted Aden airport is part of the war being waged against the Yemeni state and our great people, and it will only increase us insistence on fulfilling our duties until the coup is ended and the state restored and stability, mercy for the martyrs and healing for the wounded.”

Ayon naman kay Aden Health Official Mohamed Robeid, maaari umanong madagdagan pa ang bilang ng mga nasawi sa insidente. Pahayag naman ni UN Yemen Envoy Martin Griffiths, "I wish the cabinet strength in facing the difficult tasks ahead.

"This unacceptable act of violence is a tragic reminder of the importance of bringing Yemen urgently back on the path towards peace."

10 sugatan, 15 nawawala sa landslide

Sugatan ang 10 katao kung saan isa ang kritikal at 15 naman ang nawawala dahil sa landslide sa southern Norway noong Miyerkules.

Naganap ang landslide sa isang residential area sa Gjerdrum kung saan tinatayang aabot sa 700 katao ang inilikas.

Pahayag ni Prime Minister Erna Solberg, "It is a catastrophe. "There could be people trapped... but at the same time we can't be sure because it is the New Year's holiday, which means people could be elsewhere.

"The situation is still so unstable that it is impossible to do any (rescue) effort other than from helicopters." Samantala, tuloy pa rin ngayong araw ang pagsasagawa ng rescue operations sa naturang lugar.

Croatia, niyanig ng magnitude 6.4 na lindol, 1 patay

Isa ang patay at marami ang sugatan sa pagyanig ng magnitude 6.4 na lindol sa central Croatia ngayong Martes. Ayon sa GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences, may lalim na 10 km (6 miles) ang naturang lindol at ang epicenter nito ay sa Petrinja, 50 km south ng Croatian capital na Zagreb.

Ayon kay Tomislav Fabijanic, head ng emergency medical services, marami ang sugatan sa Petrinja at Sisak. Aniya, "There are fractures, there are concussions and some had to be operated on.”

Pahayag naman ni Prime Minister Adrej Plenkovic, "We have information that one girl was killed. We have no other information on casualties. "The army is here to help. We will have to move some people from Petrinja because it is unsafe to be here.” Saad naman ni Petrinja Mayor Darinko Dumbovic,

"We are pulling people from the cars, we don’t know if we have dead or injured. "There is general panic, people are looking for their loved ones.” Nagpadala na rin ng mga army sa naturang lugar upang magsagawa ng search and rescue operation.
