Ibinulgar ni Beauty Gonzales na marami siyang nude paintings. Mahilig kasi siyang mag-collect ng painting pero hindi niya feel pag-usapan ang tungkol sa art collection niya.

Katwiran ni Beauty, “When you talk about your own art, nagiging cheap na. I stopped talking about it.”

Nakatsikahan namin si Beauty sa grand mediacon ng Tolome! Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis (TWMNPSMNM) na nagsimula na sa primetime ng GMA-7 last Sunday.

Si Beauty ang leading lady ni Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. sa action serye.

Naisip ba niya na minsan ay magpa-paint siya nang nude?

Sagot ni Beauty, “Oo, there is. My husband has a lot na gift na portrait sa ‘kin.”

Sagot niya if willing siyang mag-pose nang nude, “Yes, I have a lot of nude paintings. By my husband, his gift.”

Siya ang nag-paint?

“No,” ani Beauty. 

“By artists and also photographs. I don’t mind. I mean, if I got a body like this, why not, ‘di ba?

“In 40 years, 50 years, hindi na ganito ‘yung hitsura ko,” katwiran niya.

Secret daw kung ilang artists na ang nakakita ng kanyang “kagandahan.” 

Wala raw plano si Beauty na i-exhibit for public ang kanyang nude paintings. 

“That will be inside my room only. Para kay hubby lang, yeah,” aniya.

At wala rin siyang balak ipagbili ang kanyang nude paintings.

“That’s personal. That’s my husband's gift. And that’s not bastos,” ani Beauty. 

Diin niya, “Hindi naman ako naka-pose na ‘f*ck me,’ eh.”

Naikuwento naman ni Beauty na hindi siya nakaramdam ng pagkailang habang ini-sketch siya.

Aniya, “When you feel conscious, that means you’re posing to be f*cked. But if you’re not conscious, it’s art. I’m not conscious because I know it’s art and it’s a gift from my husband.” 

Ayaw din niyang sabihin kung ilan lahat ang kanyang paintings.

Sagot niya, “Well, if I have to say, that’s not fun anymore.”

Sa kabila ng marami niyang paintings, hindi naman daw siya mayaman.

“Hindi naman ako mayaman. ‘Yan lang talaga ang hilig ko. Kung ang iba, mahilig sa bag, mahilig ako sa painting. For me, paintings are vital in our life. It’s very vital,” sey ni Beauty.

Samantala, nagka-feeling “sepanx” (separation anxiety) si Beauty after ng shoot nila sa TWMNPSMNM.

“Kasi ang bilis lang ng seven weeks, eh. Ang saya-saya! Sana, hindi ninyo malampasan. Every week, may pasabog,” proud na sabi ni Beauty.

Busy pa rin si Beauty kahit tapos na niyang gawin ang seven episodes ng TWMNPSMNM.

“I’m busy also right now, eh. I’m gonna start another film next year. And then, I’m doing Prinsesa ng City Jail and I’m writing my own screenplay,” tsika pa ni Beauty.

Naglabas ng pahayag ang ABS-CBN ukol sa pananatili ng It’s Showtime (IS) sa GMA-7 next MARIING sinabi ng blockbuster director na si Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana na fake news ang balitang may part 3 na ang Hello, Love, Goodbye (HLG) at Hello, Love, Again (HLA).

Diretsahang sinabi sa amin ni Direk Cathy na wala pang usapan para sa pangatlong bahagi ng box-office hits nina Kathryn Bernardo at Alden Richards.

Sey ni Direk Cathy, “Sabihin mo sa nagsabi n’yan, ‘wag s’yang mema. Kasi kami nga mismo na taga-loob, ‘di kami nag-iisip n’yan.

“Ang sinasabi namin, definitely not in the near future. Palakihin muna natin ulit sila. Kasi part ng success ng HLG, I think, is the fact na nakapag-mature ‘yung dalawa, therefore, the characters.

“So, gusto ko sana, bago man masundan, kung magkakaroon man ng part 3, aba, eh, mas ano pa, patandain pa. ‘Wag naman lolo’t lola, ‘noh, mga tito, tita. Hahaha!”

Nakausap namin si Direk Cathy sa contract signing ng pool of talents ng Cljnk, ang artist management ng kanyang production na NICKL Entertainment.

Natanong din si Direk Cathy tungkol sa dating on-and-off screen partners na sina Kathryn at Daniel Padilla, na hinandle rin niya sa halos lahat ng blockbuster movies nila, kung posible kaya na makagawa ulit sila ng pelikula.

Sagot ni Direk Cathy, “Sorry, no comment. Hahaha!”

Marami pa rin kasi ang umaasa na magbabalik sa screen sina Kathryn at Daniel, kung hindi man sa personal life nila.

“Of course, ‘di mawawala ‘yun. They’ve been years, decades sila,” diin niya.

Tungkol naman kina Sarah Geronimo at John Lloyd Cruz kung posible bang magsama uli sa project, “Depende sa kanila. Lahat possible. Depende na sa tao. So, hindi na natin (puwedeng) kontrolin,” saad pa ni Direk Cathy.

Samantala, happy and proud si Direk Cathy sa kanyang mga talents sa Cljnk.

“Ang NICKL Entertainment is the mother company. Tapos binranch-out namin s’ya para magkaroon ng sariling Cljnk.

“Pinagbabaligtad-baligtad lang na pangalan, ay, ng letters because NICKL Entertainment stands for the first letter of our names,” lahad ni Direk Cathy.

Ang “Ni” raw ay mula sa kanyang production designer na si Nicko, ang L ay kay Louie na mister ni Direk Cathy, ang C, of course ay sa kanya, at ang K ay kay Kizzy na assistant director ng blockbuster director.

“Tapos, may isa pang member, J and N. Uh, Jethro Maniego. Siya ‘yung N and J.

“But really, we wanted the name kasi parang, ‘di naman kasi, kumbaga, boss or president ng company ng ano. Hindi ako sanay dito. All I know is to direct and become a mother.

“So, right now, the Cljnk also stands for, uh, clinicking them. It’s like a clinic that will teach them. We will teach them not just to act and to perform but to become good people.

“At least, good people kasi doon ako trained. Bawal po lumaki ang ulo, mapapalo ako ni Olivia Lamasan at ng nasira nating si Marilou Diaz-Abaya.

“Si NICKL po kasi ang nag-umpisa niyan sa pagtatanong, ‘Bakit ang mahal-mahal ng bayad sa mga foreign artists, tapos sa local artists, hindi?’

“Kinukuha namin ang BTS na mag-concert. Nakita ko ‘yung presyo. Diyos ko po! Ang mahal ng presyo. If only a tenth of it can be paid to Filipino artists, ang saya sana, ‘no?

“So, sabi ko, ang talented naman ng mga Pinoy, bakit ganu’n? Bakit, ‘yan, hindi maka-ganoon (makaalagwa)? So, kailangang mabaling muna natin ang sariling atin.

“Tapos, siyempre, ‘pag direktor ako, ang dami mong artistang gusto mong pauwiin. Kasi ‘di marunong umarte. So, sabi ko, huh, ako na nga lang ang maglalagay ng arte para ‘di uminit ang aking head.

“And as you can see here, Chase and Frenchie (Dy), once I had them before and trusted them and knew their good hearts.

“So, here, you know, maybe we’re starting small. Lahat naman, nagsisimula sa maliit. But with your help, prayers to God, and uh, ‘yun. Kaya natin ‘to. Maipapakita natin ‘yung talento

ng mga Pilipino,” pahayag ni Direk Cathy.

Well, may partnership daw sila sa Star Magic ng ABS-CBN.

“Actually, I drawn into partnership with them because I asked permission. Alam n’yo naman po na mahal ko ang ABS-CBN and I had to makiusap sa kanila and tell.

“Sabi naman ni Tita Cory (Vidanes), in fairness to her, ‘Why don’t you partner with Lauren

(Dyogi)?’ ganyan-ganyan. And uh, ‘di lang po nagmi-meet schedule namin but we hope to.

“Kasi kami naman po, eventually, these artists, actually, ‘tong mga batang ‘to, lumabas na sa, ‘yung iba d’yan, sa Kim-Paulo movie ngayon, Can’t Buy Me Love.

“Kumbaga, tumatawid naman ‘yun. So, I’m very open with that partnership. Kami naman po, what’s best for talents,” paliwanag pa ni Direk Cathy.

Sa ngayon ay nasa 19 na ang talents nina Direk Cathy.

“Kung nagpapa-workshop ako? Ang totoo, ‘di ako naniniwala sa workshop. I believe the workshop takes away the rawness from the actors. So, I don’t.

“But I can give tips, especially pagdating sa working behavior, professionalism, and the basics. That’s what I’m hoping to teach them. But uh, siguro acting clinic, I would call it.

“‘Pag workshop kasi iba, eh. May itinuturong proseso kung paano huhugutin ‘pag iiyak ka na, ‘pag ganito ang gagawin. I don’t like that. Alam ng mga artista ko ‘yan,” sey pa niya.

Naglabas ng pahayag ang ABS-CBN ukol sa pananatili ng It’s Showtime (IS) sa GMA-7 next year.  

Masaya ang ABS-CBN na ibalita na magpapatuloy ang IS sa pag-ere tuwing tanghali sa GMA mula Lunes hanggang Sabado.

Taos-pusong nagpapasalamat ang ABS-CBN at ang pamilya ng IS sa GMA para sa kanilang patuloy na natatanggap na tiwala at suporta.  

Pahayang nila, “Patuloy kaming maghahatid ng inspirasyon at saya sa aming mga manonood. Maraming salamat, mga Kapuso, mga Kapamilya, at Madlang People.”

Nagbalik na sa bansa ang award-winning actress na si Hilda Koronel pagkatapos ng 12 taon na pamamalagi sa Amerika.

Isang very intimate “welcome home” and announcement mediacon ang ginanap para sa gagawin niyang comeback movie. 

Pagkatapos ng question and answer sa mediacon ay nabigyan kami ng chance na makausap si Hilda at ang direktor/producer ng movie na si Jun Lana sa isang hotel sa Kyusi noong nakaraang Martes. Ikinuwento ni Direk Jun kung paano nabuo ang proyekto para kay Hilda.  

“The moment we learned that Ms. Hilda was open and was looking for material, uhm, we immediately came out with something. And it’s a project na matagal nang naghahanap ng artista.  

“And then, I submitted the storyline through Ms. Shirley Kuan (Hilda’s manager). And then, miraculously, Ms. Hilda said she’s interested. And then, from the storyline, I submitted the full synopsis. And from there we met, and then, we submitted the script,” lahad ni Direk Jun.  

Sobrang nagustuhan daw agad ni Hilda noong ipresenta sa kanya ni Direk Jun ang kuwento ng movie.  

Ayon kay Hilda, “Uh, it was a magnificent presentation talaga. I really enjoyed that talaga noong binasa sa ‘kin ni Direk ‘yung synopsis. Zoom lang ‘yun, via Zoom lang, but it was really interesting. I really love the story. I got interested in it and I said, ‘Okay. Make the script, okay?’ Hahaha!”  

Iba raw ang movie sa mga ginawa niyang magaganda at klasikong pelikula noon.  

“Yes, it’s kinda different. It’s also a drama. There’s drama in it, but there’s other [elements] in it too. Ibang components na hindi ko pa nagagawa sa ibang pelikula ko. That’s why it’s very interesting,” diin ni Hilda.  

The Mistress (TM) ang huling pelikula na ginawa ni Hilda 12 years ago. Kaya curious kami na malaman kung ano ang na-feel niya sa muli niyang pagtapak sa set.  

“It’s gonna be exciting working with new people, younger ones too. Younger ones talaga. I feel old, ‘no? Hahaha! And I really like the story, so, excited ako, eh. Excited na akong makarating ng set,” sabi niya.  

Na-mention din namin kay Hilda ang pagkakaroon niya ng account sa Instagram. Wala raw siyang nararamdamang pressure sa pagkakaroon ng social media account kung saan agad-agad ay nakukuha ang reaksiyon at impresyon ng mga netizens.  

“I really like hearing from them. I’m having fun. They’re watching it. They’re sending me all these clips, you know, the pictures.  

“Sila ang naghahanap. Sila pa ang nag-e-edit and I really like that. ‘Coz I can’t do it myself. I tell them, kayo na lang then give it to me.  

“So, these are young people—16, 18, 15, you know, and they’re watching and they’re looking. And, ‘We watched this film, Tita, and we’re sending it to you.’  

“And I was like, ‘Paki-edit na, okay? Make it into a reel, okay?’ Hahaha!  

“So, meron talaga kaming relasyon. Younger, older, older, lola, nanay, anak, you know.

Talagang ibang henerasyon ‘yun, nahuhuli ko du’n. So, I really like it. Very exciting,” paliwanag niya.  

Sobrang nag-prepare rin si Hilda sa kanyang comeback movie.  

“Uh, I read my script a lot of times and then, I really think about it. And I was dreaming of some of the scenes already. And I’m trying to see how Direk (Jun) wanted me to do it.  

“Siyempre, I would always ask him, ganito, ganito, ganito. And may sarili rin akong concept sa gusto kong gawin.  

“So, pinag-aaralan ko ‘yun. Of course, may mga lines ako du’n, ‘Okay, teka muna.’ Hahaha! You know what I mean?  

“Ayoko munang ibisto sa kanila ‘yun. It’s not an easy project but it’s really complicated but a very, very interesting story. I really love it,” tsika ni Hilda.  

Nakapag-shoot na pala sina Hilda at Direk Jun ngayong Disyembre.  

Sey ni Hilda, “Habang nagha-holiday kayo, nagtatrabaho kami last week pa. Hahahaha!”  

So, we asked her kung paano n’ya mae-enjoy ang Pasko sa ‘Pinas after 12 years, gayung nagsu-shoot na pala s’ya.  

“Ay, okay lang. Masaya naman, eh. I’m gonna see my children and my grandchildren. I’ve seen some of them already. So, I’m having fun,” ngiti niya.  

Ii-spend daw niya ang December 25 at January 1 with her children and grandchildren.  

“Uh, pamilya rin, mga anak ko, some of them are flying from Singapore, some are here.  

“Christmas gift? Just love. ‘Yun lang ang gusto ko. Saka peace and quiet. I want to see my family. So, I just want to be surrounded by love and really wonderful people,” sey pa ni Hilda Koronel.
