Dumating na sa bansa ang 365,040 doses ng Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine na binili ng pamahalaan noong Miyerkules.
Ayon sa National Task Force Against COVID-19, ang 313,560 doses ay dumating sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 bandang alas-8 nang gabi. Una namang dumating sa Cebu ang 51,480 doses ng Pfizer vaccines bandang alas-6 nang gabi.
Samantala, sina Vaccine Czar Carlito Galvez Jr. at United States Chargé d’Affaires John Law ang sumalubong sa pagdating ng naturang bakuna.
Saad pa ni Galvez, “‘Yung karamihan dito, ‘yung bibigyan natin are those areas na hindi pa nabibigyan ng Pfizer. We are trying to roll out to them so that in the future, once Pfizer picks up their deliveries, they are well aware and they are already well trained on how to handle the sensitivities of Pfizer.”
