Higit 700 turista mula NCR Plus, dumagsa sa Boracay

Dumagsa ang mahigit 700 turista mula sa NCR Plus sa Boracay noong Sabado matapos luwagan ng pamahalaan ang quarantine restrictions sa Metro Manila at kalapit na probinsiya.

Ayon sa Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, 718 ang mga turista mula sa NCR Plus.

Siniguro naman ni Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade ang mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng mga safety and health protocols sa mga paliparan.

Kamakailan ay inaprubahan ng pamahalaan ang mga leisure activities sa NCR Plus papunta sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng general community quarantine (GCQ) at modified GCQ simula noong June 1 hanggang 15. Inalis na rin ng pamahalaan ang age restrictions ngunit kailangan ding sundin ang mga health protocols at ang mga ipinatutupad na guidelines ng local government units (LGUs).

Bohol, bubuksan na sa publiko simula sa Dec. 15

Muli nang bubuksan sa mga local tourists ang Bohol simula sa December 15 nang walang age restrictions ngunit kailangang magpakita ng negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction result 72 oras bago ang pagbiyahe sa nasabing lugar.

Pahayag ni Department of Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, “I would like to thank Governor (Arthur) Yap for removing the age restrictions kasi Filipinos really travel as a family so that will be welcome news to all those who want to travel for Christmas na at least those above 65 and below 15 can go to Bohol and enjoy as a family.”

Samantala, ayon naman kay Yap, kailangang magkaroon ang mga turista ng pre-arranged booking sa DOT-certified hotel at tour operators.

Aniya, “Kailangang pre-booked kasi ang point natin dito as we reopen is hindi puwedeng do-it-yourself. The tourists must stay within their bubble because we want to watch where they are going and we want to make sure that they are safe.”
