Assistant ni Baguio City Mayor Magalong, positibo sa COVID-19

Positibo sa COVID-19 ang executive assistant ni Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong na si Doy Tabilog, ayon sa Public Information Office (PIO) nitong Sabado.

Ibinahagi ng PIO ang Facebook post ni Tabilog kung saan aniya, “For friends, officemates and bgy. officials I have met from Oct. 1, Thursday to Oct. 3, Saturday, please check in case you have symptoms or possible consult with your doctor.

“I was tested negative Oct. 1, Thursday. But a relative was hospitalized & tested positive Oct. 4, Sunday.”

Negatibo man ang test result niya noong October 1, nagpositibo naman ang swab test niya noong October 6.

Aniya, “A swab test last Oct. 6, Tuesday gave a positive result.”

PHAPI president na si Dr. Rustico Jimenez, pumanaw na

Pumanaw na ang presidente ng Private Hospitals Association of the Phils., Inc. (PHAPi) na si Dr. Rustico Jimenez nitong Miyerkules, ayon sa anunsiyo ng naturang asosasyon.

Saad ng PHAPi, “The Private Hospitals Association of the Phils., Inc. (PHAPi) mourns the loss of its warrior-leader, Dr. Rustico A. Jimenez, an irreplaceable defender and advocate of the rights of private hospitals. The Association will surely miss his leadership of fourteen years as he gallantly steered the PHAPi to excellent service to its members. The Association condoles with his family for the loss of a loving father.”

Kinumpirma rin ng anak ni Jimenez na si Nina Erica ang tungkol dito.

Aniya, “Wala naman po siyang reklamo na masama ang pakiramdam pero nakita namin na nanghihina, mataas ang kanyang sugar kasi it runs sa family ang diabetes, pero ang ikinamatay niya ay cardiac arrest.”

LRT2, suspendido dahil sa sunog

Sumiklab ang apoy sa electrical room ng LRT-2 Santolan Station nitong Huwebes nang umaga, ayon sa fire officials.

Natanggap umano ng Pasig Central Fire Station ang report sa insidente bandang alas-5:45 AM at kaagad na nirespondehan.

Inanunsiyo naman ng Light Rail Transit Authority ang suspensiyon sa operasyon ng LRT-2 mula sa Recto hanggang Cubao Stations dahil sa insidente.

Pahayag ng Light Rail Transit Authority, “LRT-2 has temporarily suspended operations following a fire incident at Santolan this morning caused by burnt UPS. Investigation and intervention ongoing. Operations will immediately resume after verifying that no other system (equipment) has been affected.”
